Recently, I have been having all kinds of problems with Windows update, especially after the release of Windows 7 SP1. One of the frustrating things about Windows errors is the silly “Get help with this error” message that tells you absolutely nothing about how to fix the errors. Restart the Windows Update and Windows Installer services. You can find these services by opening the Services console, and then you can launch them by double-clicking on them. Then, open MSCONFIG, click on Services, and select “Hide all Microsoft services”. Luckily, Microsoft Corporation is continuously working on this issue, so it’s expected that one of the future Windows 10 updates will put Windows update errors to an end. However, until then, each of us has to fix our PCs manually when Windows 10 update errors occur.
•Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
•Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation.
•Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them.
•Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
