Innoventive Software LLC on Tuesday announced the release of FrameForge 3D Studio, a hybrid Windows-Mac 3D previsualization product aimed at directors, filmmakers and other creative professionals. The software enables users to plan 3D visual design ideas for presentation or shooting live on set.

FrameForge 3D Studio is a '3D virtual film set' equipped with actors, outdoor and indoor scenery, furniture, and other elements that directors and others can use to depict scenes. The software was developed to help provide a more effective representation of the director's visual intentions, complete with pictographic and technical information.

Features include pre-set frames for standard film sizes from 16 to 70mm; camera controls like pan/tilt, dolly, zoom and crane; real-world camera information like height, angle of view and focal length; pre-made sets available for download; importing of scripts from script processing software and more.

The scenes created by the FrameForge 3D Studio can be associated with imported scripts, played as a slideshow or even exported to graphics files, HTML or Macromedia Flash animations.

FrameForge Storyboard Studio (formerly FrameForge Previz Studio) is previsualizationstoryboard software used by directors, cinematographers, VFX Supervisor[1] and other creatives in the fields of filmmaking, television production, filmed advertising, industrial videos and other filmed or video content.
